People from the Kansai region in western Japan have a thick accent. I'm an Edo'ko , a Tokyo-ite, so I sometimes find it difficult to understand some of the stuff said by people from the Kansai region. For instance Nomimasen (I do not drink) in Kansai is NOMANDE.
Try saying it out loud. It sounds just like No Monday.
