Judging a Book by the Cover
same author, same theme - different cover...
In Japan when you buy a book, the store clerk will ask:"would you like a cover for that?" I find that facinating especially when I think about the saying:"do not judge a book by a cover." In a strange, zen way, the Japanese do not want others to judge them by the cover of the book that they are reading, and will often chose to have a cover put on -- or funnier still, reverse the paper cover already on the book so as to not reveal what they are reading.
If people "judge" based on superficial aspects, then perhaps if we all walked around with a mask (cover?) over our faces there will be no racism, discrimination, or marginalisation because we all wear the same mask. (I believe that stalinist, marxists states tried to do this but failed miserably -- surprise surprise)
I would like to live in a world where we don't have to wear a cover to avoid judgment... we are who we are afterall.

What a great thought you have, and how nice it would be if we could all just get along. Maybe if there was no lights, no sun, no fire, there would be not judgements either, but then agian we would see nothing. Yeah, can't we all just get along?
Have you then seen the option posted by that adventuresome soul. They suggested that occassionally, people get drunk and go into a darkened warehouse for a romp, then raise their resulting children normally. After a few generations, everyone would look the same. Then again, people deprived of reasons to discriminate will flee reasons to become Star Bellied Sneetches (thank you Dr. Suess).
